Dr. David Saiia

CEO and Co-founder

Dr. David Saiia- Ph.D. in strategic management, former associate professor at Duquesne University. Dr. Saiia has over 25 years of experience working with development projects and has conducted research in several countries. His experience started as a Watson Fellow conducting research in Nepal, Brazil and Kenya. He has performed governmental and business consulting on Guam and in Micronesia. He conducted national research on the Green Label program in Singapore for the National Council on the Environment and at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He has worked with Fundacion Maquipucuna for over a decade helping to protect the Choco-Andes corridor home of two of the top five places for biodiversity on the planet.

Vananh Le, M.B.A

Director and Co-founder

Vananh Le, M.B.A. concentrating in Sustainability, has ten years of experience in non-profit management and government advocacy. Ms. Le is a returned Peace Corp Volunteer who served as a teacher and community organizer in Uzbekistan. R. Benjamin Zaczek

Chief Technology Officer

Benjamin Zaczek has been working in the international development space for the better part of a decade focusing on humanitarian engineering and the social implications of non-critical aid. He holds degrees in both electrical engineering and bio-medical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Ben is currently a practicing embedded software engineer at a major medical device company.

Daniela T. Aizpitarte

Advocacy Director

Daniela serves as the Advocacy Director for REII, aiming to develop partnerships both locally, in Pittsburgh, and beyond. She holds degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh and has experience working with major non-profits such as Habitat for Humanity and Engineers Without Borders (EWB) USA. She currently serves as the Regional Administrator for the Northeast Region of EWB-USA.
